How lafly, how flaffy, how warm... Monkey was feeling so nice. Even the little teddy looked completely satisfied tucked in the scarf. "Cool, what a good looking Monkey", Monkey thought, "I should borrow it from Marta sometimes...". "I wonder how daddy likes it?!"

What was following the gift unpacking?

When Monkey unpacked his gift he found the loveliest little teddy bear he has ever seen in his life. The bear had a little Santa hat on and was simply lafly. Monkey thought of his teddy friend back in Egypt and got sad for a little. Such a long distance was separating them right now. But then he cheered up, he could not wait to show his daddy his new teddy friend.

Was that the end to the story?

And then the moment came. Monkey got his first real gift. He was thrilled, he was exited, he was happy. The very first present. He could not but think of his daddy at the moment. How nice it would have been to share such moment together. But then he got ready to unpack his gift.

When the light went on and the last sound of the carols ceased away, Monkey saw the huge heap of xmas gifts gathered under the xmas tree. It looked like Santa left all the xmas gifts under this particular tree. Monkey has never seen so many gifts. He thought "What a kind and nice family must they be since they got so many gifts!!" ;o))

But will Monkey get any of these gifts?

Monkey thought he might get some xmas gifts after the dinner but he was wrong. He was introduced to this nice new tradition of singing xmas carols after the bell rings and Santa brings all the xmax gifts. And Monkey was so excited that he joined in straight away with his deep monkey voice.

Still no gifts for Monkey and his friends, did Santa bring some??!

"Man, I wish daddy could try this too!" murmured Monkey. He put his fork to taste the potatoe salad. "Hmm, lafly!" And what is the meat, "I wonder, " Monkey mumbled as he tasted the meat.

"Oh, yummy, that is the xmas carp that I was told about! My new uncle must have brought it for us. My first carp ever!"

Will Monkey get some xmas presents??!

"No waay", thought the Monkey, "I always wished to have a fish soup as part of my xmas dinner!" He eagerly started to eat... oups... he stopped abruptly... he noticed the rest of the company was only about to sit down to the table. So he put his spoon down and waited for all his friends to gather around and start eating.

Was Monkey good? Will he get the main dish?!

As the xmas dinner was getting ready in the kitchen, Monkey was all excitedly waiting in the living room. He set the table for himself, prepared his napkin, put the TV on to watch fairy tales and patiently was expecting the dinner to come.

Will the dinner come or not... ?!?!

To sit and never get up

Today I walked more than the whole past week.

Post office in the morning - bad news, start up for the bad day
Doctor's office - no comment
Work office - nice to have a great boss
Foreigner's office - on the third try, after half hour walk and 15min spent on public transport, I made it to the right place, f*ers, they enjoy making fun of people
City court - "I am going to the registry..." "...the wrong way..." was the answer
Shop - "Your payment card does not work, sorry" (hmm, amazing)
Insurance - "Can I simply pay for two months and add the dates of insurance later with your assistance since I dont know when will the flight take place as I dont have the visa yet." "No, not possible, you should guess the dates." Since my payment card did not work, my sister paid for the insurance.
Restaurant - We went to five places before we found one where there was a space.

Only 2 hours and 35 minutes left of this horrible day.

Work motivation

On Friday, I met all my collegues from the company where I work (sort of) after a long time. It was actually a great night - pre-xmas night. We talked, we drank (sort of), we ate, we got presents, we brought presents (sort of) and we ... PLAYED.

Alex, our boss, received a present from the company employees - "intelligent plasticine". There were some 5 boxes with different colours of plasticine and half of the table spent over an hour playing with it. As the night passed by, we ventured into more and more weird and dangerous play with the plasticine - quite a bunch of my hair ended up in one of the plasticines (Alex, I really tried and got most of them out). When trying at the ladies toilets what happens if throwing the plasticine in shape of a ball on the wall, my friend ended up with bruised cheak - yep, the plasticine ball flew back quite fast. Furthermore, when applying the plasticine as a cover to a glass, the plasticine glued itself to a paper placemat and when fighting to tear it off my friend emptied the coke from the glass on herself. At that moment, Alex confiscated all the plasticines to prevent more harm and I have a bad feeling we wont ever see the plasticine again...

Alex, maybe if we are good at work you might consider rewarding us with 10min play with the plasticine??!! :o))

Nationality

I met an Iraqi person few days ago. He was very nice and distinguished older man of very well manners. I considered him Egyptian when starting to talk to him and asking for directions when he told me to be Iraqi.

And then I thought "Wow, the first Iraqi person I have met in my life. Met and talked to." And in that moment I wondered how many other nationalities I have never seen or met or talked to before.

These I have definitely talked to: Czech, Slovak, Austrian, German, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Ukrainian, Macedonian, Bosnian, Croatian, Slovinian, Italian, Swiss, French, Spanish, Belgian, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Icelandic, British, Irish, Portuguese, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Russian, Moldavian, Azeri, Armenian, Georgian, Kazakh, Uzbek, Tajik, Kyrgyz, Belorussian, Maltese, Greek, Tunisian, Morroccan, Egyptian, Nigerian, South African, Kenyan, Ghanyan, Peruvian, Colombian, Mexican, Brasil, Argentinian, CostaRican, American, Canadian, Chinese, Japanese, Mongolian, New Zealander, Australian, Phillipino, Indonesian, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Singaporean, Indian, Sri Lankan, Pakistan, Izraeli, Jordanese, .. hmm... it is late and I sit here, try to picture the map and remember if I left out someone...

So few nationalities and still so many nationalities left... good I did not think what sort of ethnic group he is... I think it would take me rather long time to write down all the ethnicities :o)))... sadly, I doubt I even know half of the ethnic names.

How to handle a boyfriend's memory??

I wonder how to improve guy's memory...

One day I stayed at home wanting to write my thesis. My boyfriend left to work with his bag where I had my thesis material. I also had my medicine in his bag. (Though I did ask him to take it out of his bag before he goes...)

I called him and asked to bring my thesis material back and the medicine.

In 20min he came back home and brought my medicine, only.

!!??

Maybe if I asked for my thesis material, medicine AND computer... he would bring two things out of three. What is the statistical probability that he would choose the right two things out of the three??
