auch...

Coming from a small country brings along naivity when it comes to big countries...

Let me just say that if you check train arrivals you should not only check the hour of arrival as one is used to, but also the day :o))).

Ukraine won... excellent!!

I am sorry, Carrisa :o(

Yesterday I went to watch the match Ukraine vs. Switzerland with my Ukrainian friend.
We sat at the Old town square on the cobblestones, and watched the big screen, having the Swiss and Ukrainian crowds around us. I was quiet, watching, clapping once in a while, as I like to concentrate on the game. Behind us was this huge group of young high school girls from Ukraine with their teacher who came for short visit to Prague. And here they were on the most beautiful Prague´s square shouting and cheering for Ukraine, conducted by some local drunkish looking Ukrainian guy, who was coming up with ideas what to shout and the girls would voice it :o)).

So except for nice game and sore butt from the hard ground, I learnt new words such as Ukraino pered (sorry for spelling) or Treba gol as well as really cool shouts like Ya lyublyu shveycarskiy sir (I love swiss cheese) :o)).

I cannot help but cheer for Ukraine.. it is the last Slavic team in the Champs!!

My mission now

My goal now is to cheer for all the underdogs... none of the favourites in my opinion play well... all seem to be happy for slim victory of 1:0... and if you excuse me... the referees are so many times such bastards... so many games have been influenced by the poor judgement of theirs...

Labels:

what a nice support...

Yesterday we lost... but it is fine... we will do better next time... we need new blood :o)).

In the middle of the match I suddenly get sms from my Russian friend:
Marta, I am cheering for the Czech team!

I wrote back:
Thanks a lot, with game like that we need all support possible.

The answer came instantly:
The whole Russia is cheering for you!

Well could not resist replying:
I am afraid, we would need at least China on top to win the game.

The reply goes:
I am in the bar and there are few Chinese here, I will talk to them...

Then one more goal came (2:0), the sms was:
Fuck!

Well, not even that many supporters were enough for us to win :o)).

i support Japan

So unfair...

Japanese are little... and they should have special treatment...

I think Japanese should be provided with shoes on springs... to jump higher...

I think Japanese should play half time only... cause they have shorter legs, thus run much more than other teams...

And the proof for that? Japan always played great in their first half... but with their handicap of short legs and short body 45min = 90 min... and thus I would count the result of the first half... Japan would win against Australia, drew with Brazil and drew with Croatia and thus would go to the second round...

... among all other work he studies Sanscrit, Arabic and Persian language ("the Italian of Levant" as de Sacy calles it) and in the middle of all that he writes to his brother to send him the Chinese grammar - "for diversion"!

...

Slováci vyrobí jadernou zbraň. Dzurinda říká: "Tak ji někde vyzkoušíme. Pošleme ji na USA, ti se rychle ozvou."

Vystřelí tedy na Ameriku a čekají na odezvu. Nic.

Dzurinda tedy povídá: "Asi to spadlo někam do pouště, Amerika je přeci jen velká. Vystřelíme tedy na New York, toho už si určitě všimnou."

New York je tedy srovnán se zemí, ale opět žádná odezva. "To není možný. Zaměříme tedy přímo Bílý dům, to už nemůžou přehlídnout," povídá Dzurinda a vytřelí tedy třetí raketu.

Zase nic.

The thought of the day

If you take the word LOVE and you change three letters, you will receive the word BEER. I think that is worth noticing!

And now attention! If you change three letters in the word LOVE and add another six, the word BUDWEISSER will appear!

That is definitely no longer a coincidence!

unusual walk :o)

I promised to be a good girl... but noone warned me there will be so many naughty guys around... :o))

A nice walk to a lake ended with a naked guy sitting next to us on a bench for a little chat... hahah... that was simply hilarious... especially after seeing the first naked guy...

We were offered a joint and a naked swim with him; though broken-hearted, we declined :o)).

What a naked day in Prague...

China's Yangtze river

China's biggest river is reportedly dying from pollution. It supports 400 million people and its eastern delta houses major Chinese cities that are the country's economic motors. A scientist says that 70 percent of the river could be unusable within five years unless toxic discharges are curbed. Added to this sobering news is the fact that the region is in its seventh consecutive year of drought.

some more words to remember...

I highly regard people with character and values, and although some might not get the due respect and appreciation in time, they should know that what they do is admirable.

100 seats for right vs. 100 seats for left

green party that is right wing (wonder if it is the only right wing green on the planet)

chief of right wing party accuses the chief of left wing party to be in contacts with mafia

chief of elite police team accuses the chief of the left wing party of rape of 15yo daughter of his friend

the chief of left wing party refuses to shake the hand of the chief of the right wing party after they won

former member of right wing party and president advisor punches one of the left wing ministers

the left wing party considers to go to the court regarding unfair elections campaign

green party says, we will not cooperate with left wing party, we wont even pick up the phone when they call (he did not know then that the right wing wont have the majority)

the media picks their favourite candidates and sides them through all the elections campaign

president being shocked how the chief of left wing party behaves (well, president is the former chief of the right wing party...)

so much crap, so much bullshit goes on in this country
