Sumava trip

Another great trip happened in the beginning of July. I have joined a group of trainees on their trip to mountains Sumava, the south part of Czech. It is one of the most beautiful places.

1st day was a lazy day, a short walk around the place where we were accommodated (we rented a three floor cottage to ourselves), getting soaked as it was rainy that day and tasting lots of yummy wild berries along the way.

2nd day we made a trip to a view-tower Javornik. We went from Zdikov to Javornik (map), it took some 20km if i remember well and the scenery was really stunning the whole way. The weather was half rainy, half sunny, we got into incredible mud while climbing the hill where the view-tower was but it was worth seing the great view.

We went home through different way, marching through little villages, meadows...

3rd day was a long day. We went to Vydra river. Passing by Zadov, Horska Kvilda, Antygl we arrived to Vydra river which we have followed for several kilometres and then turned to go back through Danielova cesta (map). Towards the end of the way we got into an area of forest that was completely soaked from rains and passing it meant sinking into a mud. But in order not to lose the sight of the touristic marking we went through it. The trip was really long, we were ten hours walking but I really loved it. All the scenery was so amazing. Though we also passed by a part of a forest where the whole hillside was cleared of a forest by a cyclone that hit this mountains few weeks back. That was quite a sad sight.

But anyways, great trip...
