new world...

Have you ever had the feeling that the city you live in you know quite well and that there si nothing that can surprise you any longer?

Well, I was in such a situation... I have lived in Prague for most of my life and walking here and there is what I like to do quite a lot which means most of the center I know. The area around the center seemed similar and thus I never expected to feel ...

... to feel as if I am entering a completely new world... a little country of its own within Prague.

I started to work part time for ADRA and used to walk here from a metro. Once I decided to take the bus to a different metro and that is when I got the first blow... The bus was passing areas that I had no clue exist in this part of Prague, furthermore the way it looked was simply marvelous. I was so excited that the next day I decided to walk the bus route although it took me some 50min.

To my astonishment this was not the end. There are two ways to get out of my office, one can also take a bus via different route and that is simply breathtaking area. I went there twice by bus so far and I kept staring out, feeling like I literally am in a different world. The bus drive takes only like 6min and passing this little newly discovered kingdom of mine takes like 3min but yet at the office when getting my tea I was still in my thoughts back in the forest with the huge beautiful vilas, completely enchanted area...

A great place to go to get lost... !

that's the beauty of living in a big city, compared to a town.
