Youth = leaders?! Ridiculous
As soon as there is some problematic issue to be solved the following happens:
- old people get pissed about it
- middle-aged are too busy to notice or do something
- young people say "I dont care" or "I dont know"
The history, including (surprisingly) the Czech one, talks about so many student movements that fight for whatever was necessary at some point - be it democracy, be it peace, be it right to study, right to freedom etc. As soon as some drastic time passes (WW2, germanization etc.) no one gives a damn any longer. So much for the deaths of those who cared and paid with their life for it.
Why do Czechs fight for democracy when they dont know what to do with it?
Why do they fight for having some say when they obviously prefer to be ruled and told what to do?
If there is any issue to be solved they simply sit at home and say "someone else will do it".
I hate this Czech characteristics... I extremely dislike how everyone keeps on talking about everything, how everyone is so extremely clever and knows everything but no one gives a shit and no one does anything, no one acts in accordance to what they say.
Westeners strike, Easteners strike, Czechs sit on their ass, swear and do nothing.
And are stupid enough to believe what ever is on TV or worse dont even know what is happening.

Are you sure that it is not Morocco about which you talk? my sweet motherland.
If you also have the schizophrenic society, that will mean that we live in the same country:)
It is amazing you face the same problem... yep, the same country as it seems. I can tell already I would feel in Morocco like at home :o)).

the czech republic is probably the only country in the world, which could survive (even have the economy grow faster) with a government on tenterhooks for 8 months.
a tribute perhaps to the indifference of the people or maybe their simple resilience to go on with their lives, and have it not complicated by politicians.
