That WAS A MATCH!!
Hell of a match... 1:0 for Russia in 1st period, 1:1 in 2nd period... In the 3rd period we scored first to 2:1, then Russians for 2:2, us again 2:3 and then Russians scored in the 58th minute and ended the match 3:3...
There was additional time for 10min, that could have been finished with golden goal... and after 8min we scored... We head to semifinals... Russia goes home.
But to be honest, Russians were so incredibly unlucky and Ovetchkin missed some really obvious chances.
On the other hand, our goalkeeper was excellent (as well as Russian Sokolov).
Well done to both teams.
Now we are waiting for our semifinal team... either Finland or Belorussia... GO BELORUSSIA :o)))!

hehehe, I guess, we will have to wait two days to see :o). I fancy Sweden :o))), as they beated USA quite nicely... so they might have a strategy how to win North Americans :o)
This was an AMAZING game... offensive hockey, nice combinations, agressive attacks, 7 goals, big drama and happyend... I have nearly damaged my voice after the overtime goal... but it was beautiful... This guy plays his first championship and he scores a winning goal like if he was just playing with his friends:)))
He was amazing, I agree, especially since he had such a big chance to score even the frist time he entered the ice. :o)
