AIESEC extensions...
I am out of AIESEC. I think for quite some time, though you all know it is not that easy to say what exactly was the moment that one got out :o).
But now Solnitchka and me will have some small session about possibilities with AIESEC Extensions during our January National Conference. As Solnitchka has helped during this summer in Tajikistan and I had a chance to meet with some guys that are establishing the extension in Azerbaijan. So I got again really excited about AIESEC. :o))
And to be honest, as I like geography and maps, and together with being former VPSN, I was always curious in which countries AIESEC is and where are the new extensions being established.
Finally I know. Here is the list if anyone else wonders :o).
Applicants for extension:
Kyrgyzstan,
Moldova,
Georgia,
Tajikistan,
Uzbekistan,
Azerbaijan,
(which means only Turkmenistan is left from former Soviet Union!! :o)
Bahrain,
Qatar,
Vietnam
Existing extensions:
Afghanistan,
Pakistan,
Tanzania
Gosh, imagine to go for a traineeship to some of these countries!! Isn´t that simply incredible?!?! :o))

Hi Marta!
This is Aibek. Briefly about myself, I am from Kyrgyzstan, studied university in Turkey, joined AIESEC in Turkey as an SN and went to Singapore for a traineeship at DHL. Then became official member of AIESEC in Singapore, later I went for my 2. traineeship in Taiwan, and still here in Taiwan. Joined some conferences in Asia Pacific, at the moment I am an international OC for national conference in Taiwan (this week). Why I am saying this? Basicly I fell in love with aiesec and tried to be active aiesecer for past 2 years, although i joined it at the end of my university life, and i lived with a dream of starting aiesec in kyrgyzstan! but had no chance to go there and dedicate myself for it.. few months ago, i learnt about initiative group in kyrgyzstan who were trying to start aiesec there, and they got accepted!:) that was amazing news! and i already contacted them... it is great that aiesec is extending in these countries. and of course, me, personally, will be happy to host you in Kyrgyzstan one day, as I will be happy to do for any other aiesecer!
Warmest greetings!
Aibek, that is so great to hear!! :o)) I really hope it will all work great with Kyrgyzstan! And of course if we come by there, I would love to meet up with you... otherwise you are always welcomed in Prague ;).
We already have few Kyrgyz friends here :o).
